In keeping with Fonson’s tradition, the Flamingo coin design was meticulously hand-modelled in plaster, ensuring true craftsmanship. The coin features double convex minting, antique finish, selective gold-plating, and metallic selective colouring. The coin is encased in a capsule and a stylish leatherette box, complete with a Certificate of Authenticity. With a limited mintage of only 500 pieces worldwide, this collectible is truly unique.
On the obverse, admire a refined and sophisticated depiction of a crowded group of flamingos. The reverse shows a solitary flamingo gracefully striding through the water, surrounded by the inscription: FLAMBOYANT FLAMINGOS • PATTERNS OF NATURE. The face value, the name of the issuing country and the silver weight and alloy are engraved on the reverse.
